WSB is the first in Poland and one of the few universities in Europe whose educational area focuses on human security issues. According to the Higher School of Security, security is a component that connects all fields of study offered by this institution. Security is understood not only as a hard element related to work in uniformed services and government administration structures but also as a concept inseparably linked to the area of mental and physical health.
Achievements
It is one of the few educational institutions that completely devotes its attention to security. Through postgraduate studies, students and graduates have the opportunity to deepen their skills in areas such as cybersecurity, counterterrorism, mediation, and negotiation.
Direction
WSB closely collaborates with the socio-economic environment (Flandria Gdynia, Polish Military University, Talent Development Center, IKM, IPN, PSB Gdańsk, Pomeranian Educational Center) and engages in inter-university cooperation, for example with the Institute of Political Science at the University of Gdańsk.
