WSSE is a private vocational school founded in 2001. The university collaborates with the city of Gdańsk, Moodle, and Symfonia, which specializes in business software. The university follows the principles of future-oriented school education, emphasizing future planning, innovation, self-assessment, knowledge management, and practical use of the Internet. One of the university’s mottos is Plato’s thought: “Knowledge is the second sun for humanity.”
Achievements and direction
The university introduces numerous innovations to improve the quality of education at the institution: the possibility of obtaining a master’s degree in pedagogy after three semesters of study, educational programs aimed at improving the quality of life in harmony with nature, the introduction of teaching content related to environmental safety, and the organization of studies in eco-pedagogy.
