The SWPS University has 10 faculties in 5 cities in Poland, and the Faculty of Psychology has been operating in Sopot since 2002. Over 2250 graduates have completed their studies there, and the teaching program is adjusted to current scientific findings. The university has secured over 20 grants in the last 10 years, and the Psychological Research Laboratory is equipped with modern equipment, including an eye tracker and a Biopac system.
Achievements
According to the Perspektywy 2022 ranking, SWPS University is one of the two best units offering psychology studies. At the university, circles of Cyberpsychology, Clinical Psychology, Business Psychology, Forensic Psychology, and Clinical Sexology are developing.
Direction
Since 2016/17, the SONA system has been implemented here, which is used by numerous foreign universities (such as Yale or Harvard). In the Sopot campus, there are 2 research centers:
- Center for Research on the Biological Basis of Social Functioning
- Center for Research on Cognition and Behavior
