The Naval Academy named after the Heroes of Westerplatte plays a crucial role in shaping professional soldiers and civilian students from both the country and abroad, significantly contributing to the state’s security. With approximately 2000 students, the institution offers 20 majors, including 6 for military students and 14 for civilians. It features a modern eight-lane swimming pool as well as a diving pool with a depth of 5 meters for professional diver training.

Achievements

The university operates the AMW Product Certification Center for defense and national security needs, as well as the Naval Technologies Center, which authorizes business activities in the production and trade of explosives, weapons, ammunition, and military or police technology.

Direction

The Maritime Cybersecurity Center is a think tank operating within the Department of Naval Command and Operations at the Naval Academy. Its main competencies include issues related to cybersecurity management, cybercrime, and securing maritime and space infrastructure.
